MY history in sales

I've worked in various sectors of sales. I have broad-based experience selling straight to consumer all the way up to the C suite. My personal sales methodology combines parts from Value Selling, STRONGMAN Solution selling, and the Challenger Sale/Customer ideologies. I am a very "why" driven person. I am unbothered by rejection, embrace conflict, and enjoy solving business challenges.

My sales career began in the ever-entertaining world of retail while working at Express. From there my first "real" sales job was in the hectic halls of Mindbody, Inc doing BDR cold-calling. Years later, toward the end of my college tenure, I began doing door to door SDR work with Sunrun. Through hard work, I became nationally ranked and was promoted to a closing role in under a year. I spent over a year in San Luis Obispo doing in-home sales following that promotion.

Looking for a bigger market and more complex challenges I moved to Adobe Systems in San Francisco and was a B2B Account Development Manager for the Adobe Marketing Cloud. Here I was able to really cut my teeth on solution selling and gained my footing for selling large ticket items between businesses. It was in this role where my tech sales career really took off. While looking for more upward mobility, I turned my focus to a startup as my next role. For a short stint after Adobe I worked at Insightly as a BDR and helped businesses grow using CRM and project management. Then I worked at a wonderful company called Hustle as a Mid-Market Account Executive to help businesses drive real conversations with their customers via text! Hustle fizzled out and had a reduction in force, causing me to work at Crunchbase for a spell.

Currently, I work at Canto - a tool that helps creative teams centralize, organize, share, and control their assets.

Outside of my sales life, I have my degree in Kinesiology and I enjoy all facets of fitness. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the NSCA as well as a Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) through ACSM. My education in Nutrition stems from coursework as a PN Level 1 from Precision Nutrition. I use these certifications as a personal trainer and constantly educate myself to help my clients achieve their goals.

Free time is a rare commodity for me but I thoroughly enjoy juggling my passions. Anything worth having is worth working hard for. For me, there is nothing I would rather be doing than the work I have today.

Fun facts

Hmm, beyond my sales history, what are some fun facts?

  1. I have never broken a bone or had a major injury even though I've been in several major car accidents.

  2. I was a Division 1 Track and Field Athlete and had a throw in high school called "The Miracle Throw"

  3. Even though I'm a millennial, I do not have social media. I only exist on LinkedIn and on this website!

  4. I love Broadway musicals and performed in musical theater for some time.

  5. I am a complete neat freak, you can often find me cleaning my living space and belongings when I have free time.

As an Account Executive my duties are: 

•Speaking with prospects to identify gaps in their current process and seeing how Canto can improve their workflow.
• Partnering with both inbound and outbound SDRs to drive business and field calls from target accounts and inbound prospects.
• Leading entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing opportunity outcome.
